But easy access can have a price. A smartphone can also lead to distractions from games or social media, professional writing services, hitting productivity. Outline policies for contacting you so you don't feel attacked from multiple communication channels. For example, Phil Scarfi, founder of Pioneer Mobile Applications, said he uses Slack for non-urgent messages, email for formal requests, texts for quick responses, and calls for urgent issues.

5. Utilize voice technology
Whether you have Siri or another voice assistant, use it to accomplish small tasks. For example, use voice dictation to respond to emails, said Alexander Lowry, executive director of the master of science in financial analysis program at Gordon College.
"Once I realized I could essentially just talk to respond to emails, I found myself spending less time with my laptop," Lowry said. "The reality is that I can speak a lot faster than I write."
Voice assistants can also help pull numbers or complete other tasks that may be easier on a laptop, allowing you to continue working from your smartphone without switching devices. You can also use them to set up reminders.

6. Link your business email to your phone
Some companies may not allow this due to security issues, especially if you only have a personal phone, but link your business email to your phone if possible. This can help you answer quick emails during downtime, as well as keep your inbox clear.

Additional tools can help make it more comfortable to use a smartphone, potentially making you more willing to perform certain tasks there instead of waiting to get back to the office. There's bound to be a situation where you simply need access to a desktop. For those times, try a remote desktop app like LogMeIn, Mehlberg said. Having access to your desktop could help reduce the number of times you push something off simply because you are missing a file.

9. Know your boundaries
While smartphones make it easier to stay in contact, they can also make it easier to overload yourself. Know when to turn off your work phone to maintain a good work-life balance, Scarfi said.
Also, it's OK to take phone breaks during the workday. Too much work could cause burnout, which may decrease your productivity.

10. Optimize your home screen
Organize your apps so your home screen holds the ones you use the most, Todd Greene, CEO of PubNub, said. The most important ones should go in your dock, and then the rest can be on your first page.
Keeping social media and other non-work apps off of the home screen could help productivity as well, because you may be less likely to tap on them aimlessly.

One thing that I've started to really think a lot about is the change that we're going to experience in the interface. AI, in of itself, isn't something you and I put our finger on and touch most of the time, but if we experience a different outcome or a different user experience in the process of seeking an outcome that's influenced by AI, machine learning, and voice-recognition, and eye-gaze recognition, and all those sorts of things, that's how we're going to see it actually manifest.

Speaking about Gollum, no one can forget that he was not so bad from the beginning and even when he was under ring’s power Gollum tried o be good for his Master, for Frodo, he tried to help him. The things he has done in the end only show us that he was fully under the ring’s power, his soul was corrupted by it. Everyone remembers that Gollum was the hobbit named Smeagol long ago before he, being in the power of the ring, killed his friend. Through the whole trilogy Gollum would cause different emotions and feelings in you, from hate to compassion mostly. Dealing with the eternal struggle inside himself, Gollum still tries to redeem his soul, but he appears to be too weak to fight and with time and manipulations the ring again took power over him. Grima Wormstongue, on the other hand, has nothing as it seems good in him. From the very beginning one sees him as some not only weak, but a pathetic slave, dog of Saruman. He is greedy and he is a coward, but in the same time with no god trace of character in himself, Grima has pride as once he could not stand Saruman’s treatment and words. Grima was the one who killed Saruman, yet he was also the one, who was killed by hobbits. Grima had dignity. He was probably the weakest creature from the whole trilogy and yet who was able to burts with rage at once and kill his Master, whom no one dared to kill just like that simple before. Knowing even that he would die, Grima cared only about his pride. Being a worm in this world, a miserable “poisonous” worm, Wormtongue could care only about his dignity. The more one reads the book, the better he understands that Gollum is somehow even the noble creature as he did not mean anything bad, he was just consumed by the greatest evil, when Grima Wormtongue is considered to have nothing good in him because he killed the villain Saruman in the name of his dignity, not others’ needs, but till he cried when he saw the army of Uruk-hai that was coming to kill every man. That means the hope to find the light in the shadows of Grima’s souls still exists. And there is no clear answer who is badder bad guy from them and who is a better man, even though all facts for the badder guy in Grima’s favour. Through the whole trilogy, both of these creatures are trying in one way or another to justify themselves and their deeds, but the truth is one of them cannot be justified in any case, why other is justified and almost every his deed the reader took with compassion.

If to return to The Lord of the Rings and its characters, then not only Sauron or Saruman are considered to be evil, but also the creature Gollum and Grima Wormtongue. However, are they fully evil or even these weakest characters could be saved? Both miserable creatures, both sided with evil, but still both so different in their fates. Speaking about Gollum, no one can forget that he was not so bad from the beginning and even when he was under ring’s power Gollum tried o be good for his Master, for Frodo, he tried to help him. The things he has done in the end only show us that he was fully under the ring’s power, his soul was corrupted by it. Everyone remembers that Gollum was the hobbit named Smeagol long ago before he, being in the power of the ring, killed his friend. Through the whole trilogy Gollum would cause different emotions and feelings in you, from hate to compassion mostly. Dealing with the eternal struggle inside himself, Gollum still tries to redeem his soul, but he appears to be too weak to fight and with time and manipulations the ring again took power over him. Grima Wormstongue, on the other hand, has nothing as it seems good in him. From the very beginning one sees him as some not only weak, but a pathetic slave, dog of Saruman. He is greedy and he is a coward, but in the same time with no god trace of character in himself, Grima has pride as once he could not stand Saruman’s treatment and words. Grima was the one who killed Saruman, yet he was also the one, who was killed by hobbits. Grima had dignity. He was probably the weakest creature from the whole trilogy and yet who was able to burts with rage at once and kill his Master, whom no one dared to kill just like that simple before. Knowing even that he would die, Grima cared only about his pride. Being a worm in this world, a miserable “poisonous” worm, Wormtongue could care only about his dignity. The more one reads the book, the better he understands that Gollum is somehow even the noble creature as he did not mean anything bad, he was just consumed by the greatest evil, when Grima Wormtongue is considered to have nothing good in him because he killed the villain Saruman in the name of his dignity, not others’ needs, but till he cried when he saw the army of Uruk-hai that was coming to kill every man. That means the hope to find the light in the shadows of Grima’s souls still exists. And there is no clear answer who is badder bad guy from them and who is a better man, even though all facts for the badder guy in Grima’s favour. Through the whole trilogy, both of these creatures are trying in one way or another to justify themselves and their deeds, but the truth is one of them cannot be justified in any case, why other is justified and almost every his deed the reader took with compassion.

As it seems from the first sight both Gollum and Grima Wormtongue are just primal animal, dangerous animals. However both these creatures are enchanting more and more readers with their complexity: Gollum as the consumed by shadows and power weak creature, and Grima Wormstongue – pathetic, weak for the smooth voice of Saruman, yet man with a strong dignity and the dim of light inside his dark soul.

Karen’s husband decided to move on, when his wife couldn’t think about anything else, but about her dead daughter and the released killer Doob. Although being so focused on the death of her daughter, Karen almost forgot that she had another daughter too. Meanwhile Doob, the killer, has got to the school of Karen’s younger daughter Megan and talked to some other girl. He purposefully was waiting for Karen, so he could sort of tease and intimidate her. Being scared for the other daughter, Karen had started making the vengeance scenario on her own. She enrolled to the self-defenseless classes. Although Karen’s friends from supporting group didn’t believe that Karen could actually kill someone. However, she changed her mind, when one of her customer was also raped and killed in way her daughter was. Karen decided then to lure Doob in her house and to kill him there. She thought it would not look like a murder, but more like a self-defense. She actually managed to kill her daughter’s killer and when the detective with the police came to her house, he witnessed in Karen’s favor. Eye for an Eye ends with a scene where Karen was sitting with her husband, and even though he had known what she has done, he still hold her hand.

Eye for an Eye movie is a great example of the revenge. It also has opened to the society one of the most troubled topic – the need of death penalty for such killers like Doob.
